Glendale Woodturners Guild presents
Recycling Trees
A Gallery of Woodturnings

The City of Glendale and the owners of vacant property have teamed up to form the Glendale Area Temporary Exhibitions (GATE) as a way to promote culture and the arts in Glendale.  Our guild has been awarded space at 101 North Brand Blvd. Level P3, Suite 220.  (Next to California Pizza Kitchen.)  We are converting this space to an art gallery featuring work from fourteen of our members.  The gallery will be open to the public Thursdays from 11am to 2pm and Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm through early January 2012

The Glendale Woodturners Guild is an organization that provides, within the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area, a forum for those interested in woodturning. Our goal is to inspire, educate, and share not only with ourselves, but also with the larger community, the technical and artistic aspects of lathe-turned work.

We welcome any within the Los Angeles area to join us. We also welcome anyone traveling through the area to visit one of our meetings held usually on the second Sunday of the month at 2pm, at the Crescenta Valley Park Recreation Center, Dunsmore Ave and Honolulu Ave in the town of La Crescenta. Please call 818-760-2210 for more information or send email to President@woodturners.org. or vp@woodturners.org
